Preschool

Our Preschool program focuses on the holistic growth of the child while ensuring that all their development milestones are being met. The program is designed not just to meet their current learning but to make them learners for life. Our focus is to instill the right set of values and make them ready for academic and social development for primary school years. Through our preschool program, we work on all aspects of their school readiness including but not limited to communication, creativity and literacy.

Toddler

Time: 10 AM to 1 PM Age: 2 years + Adult Child Ratio: 1:3

Explorers

Toddlers are constantly exploring the boundaries established by the caregiver and their own physical ability. They are extremely curious about their environments and events around them. They tend to practice an activity multiple times until they master it. Children start pretend play also around this age. At this age, children play alongside other children but usually play by themselves.

 

The toddler program is designed keeping their development milestone and offers a range of sensorial, creative and physical activities. The idea is to help them explore and experience multiple stimulation to promote physical, cognitive, logical, language and social development.

Objective of the Toddler Program:

  • Provide a safe and secure environment
  • To make them independent and self managed
  • Help them in communication and expressing themselves
  • Getting them used to class routines
  • Involvement in structured play and activities

Pre-K

Time: 10 AM to 1 PM Age: 3 years + Adult Child Ratio: 1:4

Investigators

As the toddler gains social development, they also begin enjoying other children’s company and are beginning to play together. They are looking for adult assistance while taking up more challenging tasks and are learning by exploring all their senses. This is also the time when their vocabulary is developing at a fast pace and are actively listening. They indulge in conversations and also enjoy stories and songs. 

 

The Pre-K program is designed to develop a strong foundation for future learning and lays a bridge between the knowledge acquired during infancy and toddlerhood and learning requirement for preschool. Children can choose between different environment focussed around communication, logical reasoning, early math, early literacy etc.

Objective of the Toddler Program:

  • Have a sense of group identity and be able to play in groups.
  • Gain Independence and follow classroom routine
  • Phonetics sounds for reading
  • Developing interests on different activities
  • Pre-writing readiness

K-1

Time: 9 AM to 1 PM Age: 4 years + Adult Child Ratio: 1:6

Preschooler

Four is when the child is beginning to understand the difference between people based on the rationships, behaviour, gender and race etc. They are also trying to understand the world outside their own relationships. They will explore these differences through role play and asking questions. They have a developed sense of self control and are continuing to develop their emotional skills. They are beginning to use reasoning to solve problems.

 

The K-1 program works on the holistic development of the child and helps them develop their skills to better understand the world around them. The Educators plan the activities to help them make enquiry and discovery and extend their multiple intelligence to solve problems.

The program focuses on the following five areas:

  • Language and Literacy
  • Mathematics and Logic
  • Physical Development
  • Social and Emotional Development
  • General Awareness and Creativity

Literacy is not only about reading and writing but also communication. Math and Logic includes numbers as well as problem solving skills and cognitive development.

 

Objective of the K-1 Program:

  • Increased independent and better self management
  • To be able to self control, make choices and work in team
  • Reading and Writing ability
  • Self Expression: Verbal and no verbal
  • Keep an ongoing curiosity

K-2

Time: 9 AM to 1 PM Age: 5 years + Adult Child Ratio: 1:10

Preschooler

Five year olds can better manage their emotions and social situations. They have the necessary skills to form relationships with other children and adults. By this age, they can do most of the gross motor skills and is ready to take more advanced movements like gymnastics and ballet etc. They are creative and keen problem solvers looking for hands-on experiences. Their language skill os quite developed already and they can discuss stories and create their own stories. 

 

The objective of the K-2 program is to instill a love for lifelong learning in the children. During the final year of the preschool, Educators work towards building a strong foundation and academic prerequisite for entering primary school.
